We are a student-run, student-led research and advocacy organization, aiming to preserve democracy through historical research and exploration into the diasporic experiences of South Asian immigrants and their integration into America.

Aishwarya Ramasubramanian
FOUNDER & EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Aishwarya is a senior at Northwood High School in Irvine, CA. As a South Asian-American, Aishwarya observed the lack of inclusion of the South Asian narrative into mainstream education and history classes, and aimed to expand the historical exploration into South Asians in the United States. She is passionate about research, history, and public policy.
In her free time, you can catch her listening to Sabrina Carpenter, watching Designated Survivor, or playing with her dog, Boba.

Vanshika Thakur
MANAGING EDITOR, DIASPORIC DIALOGUES
Vanshika (Vansh) is a junior at Jericho High School in Long Island, NY. She is strongly immersed in current events and their legalistic implications, also including the underreporting of Asians. She has dedicated her efforts to bringing light and creating a substantial impact in her community in retrospect to these events. She’s interested in legal studies and entrepreneurship; alongside this, She wishes to be a change agent in federal politics.
In her free time, she enjoys playing sports like tennis, basketball, beach volleyball, skateboarding, and snowboarding. You can also find her cooking, thrifting, or binging another episode of Better Call Saul.
